Side Effect was founded back in 1999 on the idea that you need more then a photo on the internet to shop for your snowriding gear. The idea that you might want to talk to someone that has first hand knowledge of what a board might actually ride like. We sell only the best brands from companies that care about and fully support snowboarding. Brands like Lib Tech, Gnu, Burton, Union, Capita, Nitro, 32, Volcom, Airblaster, One Ball Jay, Slash by GiGi, Anon, Dragon, Electric, Ashbury, Drink Water, Vans and many more. 

We are the NW's only Commission dealer (the Commission is a group of industry hand picked dealers that truly represent snowboarding). With the Commission we get super LTD boards, boots, and bindings that have better builds and better prices and can't be bought on the internet. 

We are a Transworld Good Wood award store and have several employees that are testers in the Good Wood awards.
